The authority strives to solve the problem in a peaceful way but warns that it may well take the ECB to the EU's highest court as Europe’s central bank wants any of the so-called "central counterparties" that handle more than 5% of a euro-denominated product to be based in the eurozone and consequently forces British clearing houses to move into the eurozone.

According to the Department of Masterforex-V trading system , GBPUSD keeps forming a long-term downswing –wave A(C ). By now the currency pair has finished sub-wave C. Once the price overcomes the support level 1,5706, it will start forming wave 5/A(C ), with further supports at 1,5565, 1,5490, 1,5485. The main level of resistance is located at 1.599 (an MF pivot). The mentioned bearish wave A(C ) will be completed as soon as the price break above the top of MF sloping channel (as shown below):
