Apparently, iPhone by Apple is one of the most popular mobile devices in the world. These gadgets are always in high demand both in developed and emerging economies. Still, what happens when it's been a couple of months since the release of a new gadget? The company definitely has to introduce something new (at least an accessory). This is exactly what Apple decided to do.
In particular, Apple has just introduced a new case for iPhones it is called Wello. The all-new Wello case is said to be designed to be both fast and simple to use.
Some experts have already used the prototype to find out that it is ultra-light, and thinner than the Speck case for iPhones. All readings are said to be done with the user's hands in a comfortable position, and the health tracker is actually able to return the user's vital signs as well as a fancy ECG graph of his/her heart in just a few seconds.
On top of that, you can pair it with your Wi-Fi scale and fitness tracker in order to keep an overall picture of your health in the same place. Also, additional add-ons could become available for the case later in order to perform tests for other things like glucose. Another benefit is that everything you track can actually be viewed on a daily, weekly, or monthly scale, which allows you to see at a glance if your health starts to change.
Hamish Patel, Founder and CEO of Azio, says that the device can not only be useful for people in the US, but even more so for people in developing countries where access to health services are limited. The case is expected to come into market this fall at $199 per unit. Instantly after the release, it will be available for the iPhone 4S, 5, and 5S in 35 countries across the globe.
Surprisingly, Android users can also use Wello. Still, it this case, it can only be used as a standalone device. All of the tech for Wello is contained in a removable card, which is roughly equal to the thickness of your average business card. Azio plans to make the card available for other manufacturers to include in cases, so you might ultimately see Wello come to a third-party Android case, or even a different iPhone case.
Wello is open for pre-orders today in the United States, Canada, India, China, Hong Kong , Singapore as well as the United Kingdom and the EU. Early buyers are reported to be able to earn $10 for each person they get to pre-order. It depends on how many people you refer, tracking your health could be not only easy, it could be free.
Meanwhile, Apple's stock is up by 0,09% since the opening. The news seems to have reassured investors. At this point, the company's stock is trading around $530,92 per share. The chart below, courtesy of Masterforex-V Academy, reflects the current state of affairs in the market of AAPL:
