Yesterday, Apple’s stock suddenly collapsed down to the lowest level since December 2011. This was a 6% decline below $400 per share. As a result, Apple’s market capitalization declined by $20bn.
This is the first time, Apple reports about a decline in quarterly profits. This provoked a wave of concerns in the market. The company’s market capitalization reached its climax in September 2012. Since then, there the capitalization is down by 40%.
