The futures on US stock indices are trading in the green zone today even though the rally is rather faint. The prices started growing after official retail sales reports were released.
The current market situation looks as follows:
· Dow Jones Industrial Average: + 5 % up to 14457.
· Nasdaq-100: +3,5 % up to 2803,5.
· S&P 500: +0,5 % up to 1556,5.
At the same time the stock of Bank of America Corp. is up by 4%. The rally started after the Fed allowed the bank to buy back its shares after the recent stress tests. The stock of Morgan Stanley is up by 1.3%.
