European stock indices are trading in the green zone as investors feel optimistic about US politicians’ ability to resolve the budget issues to prevent the world’s biggest economy falling off a “fiscal cliff”.
At this point, the market situation looks as follows:
DAX 30: +0,5 % up to 7378,74.
CAC 40: + 0,6 % up to 3536,64.
FTSE 100: +0,3 % up to 5822,36.
In the meantime, economists expect the eurozone economy to see further crisis phenomena. However, they feel more optimistic about the eurozone’s economic prospects for 2014.
