European stock indexes have opened today’s trading session in the red zone and are showing weakness. Investors are looking forward to seeing the results of tomorrow’s ECB meeting to see whether the central bank will toughen control over the eurozone’s banking activities and stimulate the eurozone economy.

· Dow Jones Euro Stoxx 50 dropped 0,5% down to 2424,37.
