U.S. President Donald Trump is reported to have been canceled his meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. This is confirmed by the corresponding official press release published in the White House’s official account.
It’s also reported that Kim Jong Un has been informed about this decision. Moreover, Donald Trump is reported to have written a letter to the North Korean leader to explain the reasons for such a decision.

Still, in his letter to Kim Jon Un, President Trump underlined that the summit was taken seriously in the White House. However, after some hostile public statements towards America made by the North Korean leader, President Trump changed his mind and saw no reason to arrange this summit, which is what he wrote in the letter.
In the meantime, Donald trump still hopes for better relations between the two states and doesn’t deny a summit at some point in the near future if the conditions are favorable for that. He also thanked Kim Jong Un for liberating American hostages and called it a nice move.
