Moscow seems to be entering the final stage of preparing the referendum in Donetsk and Lugansk republics to join the Russian Federation. This is reported by ЛИГА.net in their special project called “War 2017” dedicated to the 3rd anniversary of Russia’s aggression in in the East of Ukraine.
They say that the Kremlin is busy preparing marches in Moscow to welcome Donbass and Lugansk as new parts of the Russian Federation after referendums the way the Crimea was annexed a couple of years ago. The participants of those marches are expected to ask Vladimir Putin to accept those occupied Ukrainian territories. At the same time, they are planning referendums in Donets and Lugansk to join the Russian Federation. Everything is reported to be ready for the referendums.
Experts say that there is no doubt that 90% of the voters will allegedly be voting for joining Russia. Apparently, the international community won’t recognize the results of the referendum. However, the recent events show that Russia has been ignoring the opinion expressed by the international community. That’s why the next step after the referendum is openly deploying Russian troops in Donetsk and Lugansk. Nobody doubts it.
