According to several internet sources, Vladimir Putin started daring Donald Trump. For those of you who don’t know, Putin and Trump had a phone talks on January 28th for the first time since Donald Trump became the U.S. President.
They say Putin was hoping for some hints from Trump regarding easier sanctions and clearer stance on the situation in Ukraine and Syria, as well as his plans related to the NATO and the EU. Even though the details of the first conversation haven’t been revealed, the conversation is said to have been held in a warm atmosphere.
However, 24 hours later, the armed conflict in the East of Ukraine escalated again, leaving hundreds of killed among the troops and civilians, and causing a humanitarian disaster. While Kiev wants to restore the integrity of Ukraine, Moscow wants it split into isolated formations, with further possibility of joining them to the Russian Federation. This is what the experts say. Amid the escalated conflict, the experts don’t believe that Trump and European leaders will dare cancel or even ease those sanctions.
At the same time, they are almost sure that Putin is daring Trump since the U.S. President has been reiterating his commitment to improving the relations with Russia.
