The investment portfolio is recovering slowly but surely. Even though the profitability is miles away from the green zone, we are confident that reaching the area is just a matter of time. For those of you who don’t know, Paramon saw a major drawdown a couple of weeks ago, which resulted in a nearly 14% drawdown for the entire portfolio. Since then, the portfolio recovered a little bit.
For now, 4 out 5 traders managing the investors’ funds showed some profits over the past trading week. The remaining trader decided to take a break and abstain from trading in uncertain markets. This means that no trader saw a losing week this time, which is good news.

Since the biggest drawdown occurred, the total drawdown has already shrunk from 13,43% down to 11,77%. In absolute terms, that’s almost 72 dollars to the total amount managed within the scope of the investment portfolio. By the way, the initial investment was $15000 split evenly between 3 major managers. This is slightly over 0.5% of the starting capital.
Well this is not bad, given the current uncertainty in financial markets, which has been feverish ever since Donald Trump unexpectedly won the U.S. presidential election earlier this month. For those of you who don’t know, this even resulted in a strong and sharp rally of the U.S. Dollar against all other currencies. This was so shocking that some market participants are still afraid of going back to trading. Others start recovering from their losses. That’s why diversification is still the king.
