Even though more and more experts are sure about Hillary Clinton’s victory in the forthcoming U.S. presidential election, and even bookmakers think that Hillary Clinton is the frontrunner, the results of the recent surveys show that everything is not that clear. In early October, Mrs. Clinton used to outpace Donald Trump by as much as 12%, today the difference is just 2%. The latest survey was taken on November 1st through 3rd.
Such surveys are taken by various sociological and mass media companies. Even though the results of those surveys differ, none of them gives Mrs. Clinton the same competitive edge she used to have 4 weeks ago.
Her position was undermined when the FBI started investigating an interesting case. The thing is that Hillary Clinton is suspected of using a private non-secure server to send top-secret emails when she was the U.S. Secretary of State. If that’s the case, this might have resulted in hackers stealing some top-secret information. The FBI is now busy trying to figure out whether that was really the case.
The surveys show that if the election had taken place on November 1st through 3rd, Clinton and Trump would have gained 45% and 43% of votes respectively. The election is scheduled for November 8th.
