Every year average sheets and smartphones relentlessly increase in size, owing to use of big diagonal matrix. For a smartphone, used every day, a diagonal above 6 inches is already too much and inconvenient, which hinders its easy transportation; the same parameter for a sheet is limited to 10-12 inches. In other cases a sheet with mobile operating system from Google is substituted by a full-scale hybrid laptop or ultrabook.
Apparently, Samsung company has decided to go against traditions and present a truly huge 18.4-incher Android-sheet to the market. The gimmick has already undergone Bluetooth SIG certification, which means that its release may be announced in the foreseeable future.
Last week there was held an exhibition IFA 2015, and the South Korean manufacturer has made public several renders of the 18-incher gadget under a name Galaxy View, and interest to it has naturally risen.
Speaking about characteristics of the “giant”, nothing is currently known about its hardware, but some technical details have been found out from insiders; for example, it is known about the presence of a 2-Gb RAM, eight core microchip Samsung Exynos 7580 with 1.6 GHz clock frequency, 5700 mAh battery capacity, slot for microSD cards, 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera, and a 32-Gb flash drive.
It is hard to say how reasonable and justified Samsung Galaxy View will become, as the main feature of the sheet considerably narrows down the number of potential buyers, who are ready to sacrifice mobility, for which such gadgets are appreciate, for comfort of work with Android-sphere. It is yet unknown when Samsung Galaxy View will enter the market, and what will its price be.
Fold-up Smartphone Samsung Project Valley will Make Debut in January
If to believe rumors and rest on latest information leak, in January 2016 Samsung is going to release a fold-up telephone under the code name Project Valley or Project V. The company was making hints about this gadget in March, and now its representatives already say that the new smartphone will be released on the basis of Snapdragon 620 or 820 processor.
According to Masterforex-V Academy analysts, today stocks of Samsung have entered the green zone, having thus gained in price 0.51%.
