Last year, a lot of online sources spread rumors that Google is going to put an end to the production of the famous Nexus series of smartphones in order to focus on more expensive Android-powered devices, Market Leader reports. Still, these rumors have failed to manifest themselves so far.
According to the Hi-Tech Department of Masterforex-V Academy, Google reversed its intensions after the Head of the project called Android Silver left the company. With that said, it may well be that Google is going to revive the Nexus series of Android-Powered smartphones in 2015.
According to several web sources, if this is the case the next manufacturer to partner with Google within the scope of the Nexus project is going to be LG (South Korea) to replace Huawei (China). So far, it is reported that Google has already visited LG to discuss the matter.
It may well be that the secret device (the code name is N000) is going to turn into the next version of Nexus by Google. it should be noted that the model name of the Nexus series is pegged to the screen size rather than the sequence of gadgets.
If the peg system remain the same, LG will have to work on the 3rd devices with the 7’’ screen (most likely, it is going to be Nexus 7). At the same time, there are rumors that both LG and Huawei are planning to release 2 smartphones each. At this point, LG is Google’s major partner within the scope of Android devices. It should be noted that LG was the one that helped Google release Nexus 4 and 5.
As for Google’s stock, the price has gone 0,23% up since the start of the trading session. This is confirmed by the chart below, courtesy of Masterforex-V Academy:
