It seems like Microsoft Corporation is still busy trying to release the compact version of its Surface tablet. The rumors about it have been spreading across the web for a while, the Hi-Tech Department of Masterforex-V Academy reports.
Market Leader reports that the American tech giant previously announced a 7,5-8-inch tablet. At that point, it was expected that the devices is going to be powered by the ARM processor and the Windows RT 8.1 operating system.
Last summer, Microsoft gave everyone to understand that the production of Surface Mini was decided to be postponed while the corporation’s experts said that they questioned the market success of the device. Now, the info seems to have changed while Microsoft is going to introduce the device in a couple of weeks.
Unfortunately, there is still no detailed information on the future tablet. Still, some experts assume that Microsoft will choose to use the x86 Intel CPU and Windows 8.1 instead of the ARM processor and Windows RT 8.1. On top of that, if to consider the fact that the buying spree season is underway, Surface Mini may well turn out to be a good Christmas present.
As for Microsoft’s stock, it has been subject to a negative market tendency today. The price is down by 0,38% and is currently staying around $48.08 per dollar, which is confirmed by the char below, courtesy of Masterforex-V Academy.
