Apple has just got another license form the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The new patent describes a new technology connected with integrating solar panels right into a flexible touchscreen. Market Leader reports that the first claim for such a license was made in September 2008. Its extended version was approved by the office the other day since the very development process took much longer than expected.
According to the patent, the solar panel will be integrated right between the levels of a touchscreen. This is going to be an extra source of energy for the mobile device. Previously, several sources informed that Apple was working on alternative energy sources for iWatch. They also considered wireless recharging and recharging from hand moves. By the way, Apple along with Samsung controls 71% of the tablet market.
According to the research conducted by the experts of ABI Research, the tablet market can see Samsung catching up with Apple pretty fast. In Q1 2014, both companies manufactured 29,4 million devices, which corresponds to 71%.
Meanwhile, Apple's stock keeps gaining value, Masterforex-V Academy reports. Yesterday, the price gained 0,02% despite having come a long way up within a couple of weeks. At this point, the stock is trading around 604,71, Market Leader reports.
