More and more web sources report that Apple is seriously working on a new portable device. It is said to be called iWatch. Until recently, there was no doubt that Apple would introduce its own smart watch.
However, not so long ago, some sources stated spreading rumors that Apple will finally not come up with its iWatch. In particular, this idea was expressed by an analyst working for OpTe.ch.
He says that Apple used to be working on the project for a long time but is no longer involved in it. In particular, he doesn't exclude the very possibility of Apple introducing its smart watch. However, he is almost convinced that there is not point in looking forward to iWatch in 2014 or in the near future.
His reasoning is that at this point all smart watches currently introduced or available for sale are too big and weighty to be comfortable while Apple always strives to make premium-quality devices, which are thin, light and nice looking. At the time, such devices cannot last long without being recharged. Another thing is desing, which cannot currently be couple with technology to generate outstanding results in the form of a device with appealing design and powerful hardware specifications.
At the same time, other resources report that Apple us currently expanding the team working on iWatch. Those are experts in various fields form touchscreen sensors to health care.
Meanwhile, the market seems to be reassured by the recent news concerning Apple and its prospects. In particular, that company's stock is up by more than 1% and is currently trading around $539 per share while trying to recover after the recent drop in price.
