YouTube, the world's most popular video hosting is about to get a «younger brother».
The thing is that Google, which owns YouTube, is about to introduce a YouTube version for children. In particular, the representatives of the world-famous tech giant say the new version of the popular hosting is made exclusively for children under 10 years old.
The reason is that despite being extremely popular worldwide, YouTube was criticized many times. Indeed, more often than not, the content uploaded to YouTube should be rated as +12, +16 or +18. This means the video footage should be age-restricted but children still may see the content.
Apparently, the YT version for children will not contain any video footage with explicit content, sex and violence.
The developers are also thinking about the ways and means of filtering and restricting the access to video uploading. As for the child version, it is very likely that official studios and cartoon networks will be some of the few authorized content uploaders. At this point, Google is having talks with some of them.
Still, the very project is still far from being actually implemented. The developers are still working on the concept.
Meanwhile, due to several factors including severe criticism of YouTube, Google's stock reacted accordingly by losing a bit of its value and retracing from all-time highs. At this point, the retracement is already more than 2%. At this point, Google's stock is trading around $1,157 per share, which is far below $1215 per share seen recently. Still the news may improve the situation. The chart below, courtesy of Masterforex-V Academy, reflects the current state of affairs in the market of GOOG:

Как прогнозируют аналитики брокерской компании, запуск новой "детской" версии сайта видеохостинга YouTube, в скором времени обязано повысить стоимость крупнейшей мировой компании.
Стоит отметить, что на YouTube имеется функция родительского контроля, при использовании которой скрывается видео с неприемлемым содержимым. Помимо этого того, видеосервис поддерживает версию YouTube EDU для школ, на котором размещены образовательные видеоролики.
