Not so long ago (during CES 2014), Lenovo introduced another model of the ThinkPad series. Now, the new device is reported to be available for preorder in China. Apparently, this is the domestic market for the company, and that is why it decided to start the sales form it. Without any doubt the device will become available to other nations in the near future.
Market Leader reports that the Windows-powered tablet PC Lenovo ThinkPad 8 resembles HP Omni 10. The only visible difference seems to be the size of the screen (the latter has a 10-inch display).
Lenovo ThinkPad 8 has a 8.3-inch Full HD display (IPS, 1920 by 1080 pixels). It can also boast a quad-core processor - Intel Bay Trail Atom Z3770 – coupled with 2Gb of RAM.
The external memory varies (2 options – 64Gb and 128Gb).
The recommended price of the new device by Lenovo is reported to be $486. Still, the price may be higher for other markets abroad.
Meanwhile, investors and shareholders seem to be reassure by the news. The stock is rallying on expectations. Not os long ago, the stock gained around 2% to nearly hit $22 per share. The bias is positive. The chart below, courtesy of Masterforex-V Academy, reflects the current state of affairs in the market of LNVGY:
