It's been 4 months since the sales of Sony PlayStation 4 started. Since then, Sony has already sold over 6 million copies of the popular game console. The company managed to become the industry's leader, thereby outpacing Microsoft's Xbox 720, its major rival. Still, in order to avoid overloading users with information, Sony appears to have concealed some facts about the popular game console. It wasn't until recently that Sony decided to reveal those interesting hidden facts about PlayStation 4.
It turns out that PS4 (with 8 cores times 1,6GHz) is 43 times as powerful as PS2. Apparently, this comparison is rather conventional. Still, this can be used as a nice little trick to amaze other potential buyers of the new console.
At the same time, several benchmark tests indicate that 1,6GHz is not the highest frequency possible. The figures may grow up to 2,75GHz when extra performance is necessary.
The news seems to have had a positive impact on Sony's stock. At the same time, experts say that Sony has backed long-time leadership in the industry thanks to the price as one of the key factors.
In particular, Sony's stock is up in value by 0,5%. The rally has been slow but steady. The chart below, courtesy of Masterforex-V Academy, reflects the current state of affairs in the market of SNE:
