According ot the representatives of TSMC, the company is currently busy working on the processors for the next version of iPhone ( which is likely to be called iPhone 6).

In particular, it is rumored that iPhone 6 will get a one-crystal system, which is likely to be called Apple A8. On top of that, the system is said to be developed by TSMC. The Taiwanese company is also said to be working on some other chips of the same device.
Meanwhile, experts say that the proceeds from the production of hardware for new versions of iPhone and iPad may reach up to 10% of the company's total proceeds. For reference sake, TSMC earned some $4,8bn last year. Mobile chips accounted for over 30% of the sum.
Apparently, this is good and reassuring news for the company's shareholders because the price of the stock is reacting correspondingly. At this point, the price is rallying and has already hit a new local high at $18.39 per share.
