Several internet sources report that LG is currently working on the smart watch for Google. They also report this used to be Motorola's prerogative.
In particular, a web source called Android Police has published several sneak pics of some hand device and claims this is the long-awaited smart watch by Google. The device is expected to be called Google Watch and to come into market as an accessory for the Nexus series.
If to believe the photos, the device has a square screen. The watch looks like its counterparts manufactured by other companies. It has a USB slot and a couple of hard buttons.
Still, this is believed to be Motorola's concept, and Google may well abandon it in favor of the new one offered by LG. The device seems to have voice and fitness icons on the buttons.
It should be noted that the industry of portable devices keeps attracting more and more developers and manufacturers since various gadgets are getting increasingly popular among people worldwide.
Meanwhile, Motorola isn't doomed to leave the industry. On the contrary, after being bought by Lenovo, it is going to come back with its own smart watch, thereby focusing on appealing design and longer working hours.
Meanwhile, Google's stock seems to never stop gaining value and setting new price records. At this point the price is fluctuating around $1219 per share. The chart below, courtesy of Masterforex-V Academy, reflects the current state of affairs in the market of GOOG:
