During MWC 2014, the world witnessed the world's best and most popular mobile devices. The winners were chosen by GSMA, the host of the expo in Barcelona.
According to the information provided by GSMA, Apple's iPad Air was recognized the world's best tablet due to its extremely efficient productivity, appealing design and a whole sea of apps. iPad Air managed to outpace such devices as Amazon Kindle Fire, Sony Xperia Tablet Z and Google Nexus 7. It should be noted that Google Nexus 7 was number one in the previous rating.
HTC One – Best Smartpone at MWC 2014
When it comes to low-cost smartphones, Nokia Lumia 520 won the nomination, outpacing Lenovo A390T. Lenovo A390T, Samsung Galaxy Young, Sony Xperia E and Xiaomi Hongmi. All of these devices cost under $150.
Among all the smartphones in all price ranges, it was HTC One that celebrated the victory due to its design and user interface. The list of other nominees includes iPhone 5s, LG G2, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and Nokia Lumia 1020. It should be reminded that in 2013 it was Samsung Galaxy S III that won the same title during MWC 2013.
Among ordinary mobile phones, Nokia 105 celebrated the victory. It should be noted that the nomination was represented purely by Finnish devices, including Nokia 208/515 and Nokia Asha 210/503. As for last year's winners of the nomination, it was Nokia Asha 305.
Meanwhile, Apple's stock is trading around $517,35 while НТС's stock is trading around $3,71.
