
The international computer industry witnessed another major event the other day. It was the expo called MWC 2014. During the expo, Alcatel introduced a new low-price LTE smartphone. It is called OneTouch Pop S.
This is the biggest device in the series. It has a 5,9-inch display (1280 by 720 pixels), a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8926 processor (4 cores, 1,2Ghz) and 2 cameras.
The devices is 8.5mm thin and costs 220 euros.
All in all there are 3 devices in the series. All of them have NFC, Bluetooth 4.0 and LTE modules as well as a microSD slot. All the devices are obviously powered by the latest version of Android OS.
Meanwhile, Alcatel’s stock is reported to be consolidating within a relatively narrow price range after a rally seen in late 2013. The chart below, courtesy of Masterforex-V Academy, reflects the current state of affairs in the market of ALU:
