Intel, one of the leading computer giants and manufacturer of computer chips, is planning to implement multiple updates of its products this year. Obviously, 2014 promises to be a tough year for the company. Still, the top management is set to strive hard to impellent these ambitious goals and to make Intel the center of hi-tech innovation.
Most probably, Intel will face some challenges, including the idea that ARM-based processors will be consolidating their position in the global market. X86-based processor are still in demand Still, the shareholders of Intel are aware of the fact that the technology is in jeopardy, which threatens the company's stock.
In particular, they are aware that AMD, Intel's major rival is already working on ARM processor to become the leader of the niche in the near future. Therefore, they want Intel to consolidate its position in the niche of ARM processors as well as to avoid lagging behind AMD.
Moreover, several internet sources report that Intel is planning to release an updated version of the popular Bay Trail-M chip. The introduction is believed to take place during Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona, which is to open in a few days.
The developers say the new version of the popular chip will be targeted for Android devices. Moreover, there will be a 64-bit version of the chip. In August, Intel is planning to release new processors Haswell Refresh K-series.
