According to the representatives of ASUSTeK, a Taiwanese manufacturer of computer electronics, the company is planning to hold a conference dedicated to the publication of the latest financial quarterly report.
According to ASUS, the company managed to become the world's third largest manufacturer of laptops. In particular, during the period of October through December 2013 ASUS managed to increase its net profit to $147 million. In the 4th quarter of 2013, the consolidated proceeds reached $3,1bn, thereby increasing by 2% (y/y). All in all, the Taiwanese manufacturer of laptops managed to reach the proceeds equal to $10,9bn.
ASUS admits that laptops account for the biggest part of the company's income – some 59%. The share of tablet PCs and graphic cards is around 18% and 13% respectively.
Meanwhile, the company's stock responds with a rally. The price is growing as ASUS's stock is currently trading at $46,67 per share. The chart below, courtesy of Masterforex-V Academy, reflects the current state of affairs in the market of ASUS:
