Nokia is know for being devoted to Windows Phone as the operating system for its smartphones. Still, the things are likely to change in the future since Nokia is said to be going to release an Android-powered smartphone. It sounds especially interesting amid the fact that Nokia sold its mobile business to Microsoft, the owner and creator of Windows Phone.
In particular, several web sources including such respected editions as The Wall Street Journal report that Nokia is going to introduce the audience to the its first Android-powered smartphone. The code name is Normandy.
The sources say that the work on the new smartphone started long before Nokia decided to sell its mobile business to Microsoft. So, the devices is almost ready for release. That is why experts assume it will see the world during Mobile World Congress 2014 scheduled for February 24th 2014.
