Apple, the world-famous tech giant, is reported to have abandoned the idea to develop the low-cost version of the future iPhone version. In particular, there will be no iPhone 6C.
They say the only modification will be the premium S version. In Q4 2013, Apple sold only 51 million devices, which is below expectations. Apple thinks this is because iPhone 5C failed to be in high demand in emerging markets and in the USA as well. In 2013, Apple’s market share in the mobile segment declined by as much as 4%! It is only 15%! Samsung sold twice as many smartphones during the reporting period.
Therefore, Apple decided to abandon the idea of creating iPhone 6C in order to avoid wasting money on products that won’t be in demand since the price difference between C and S devices is minor, which obviously favors the latter while hindering the demand for the former.
Meanwhile, Apple’s stock dropped in price almost instantly after the corporation published poor financial figures for Q4 2013. The chart below, courtesy of Masterforex-V Academy, reflects the current state of affairs in the market of AAPL:

Напомним, бренд Microsoft стал дороже Apple в США.
