The year of 2014 is underway. Nokia is about to hand its mobile business over to Microsoft after last year’s sales agreement. Still, the Finnish manufacturer of mobile devices looks full of ideas and determined to continue creating mobile devices.
If to believe the rumors spread by multiple internet sources, Nokia is about to introduce a mini version of the bestseller called Nokia Lumia 1520. The new model will be called Nokia Lumia 1520 V. It is expected to get a 4,30-inch display (1920 by 1080 pixels, the biggest resolution among mobile devices with such screens). It will also get 2Gb of RAM,32Gb of external memory and a 14-megapixel camera). Apparently, the new device will be powered by Windows Phone 8,1, which is about to be introduced, probably in April 2014.
Experts say that creating mini versions of best selling mobile devices has become a global trend.
Meanwhile, Nokia’s stock is still appreciating even though it is currently seeing a slight retracement from the local high. The chart below, courtesy of Masterforex-V Academy, reflects the current state of affairs in the market of NOK:
