Samsung, the world-famous South-Korean manufacturer of computer electronics, keeps introducing new mobile devices along with updated versions of some older devices. This time, the company decided to experiment with Galaxy Note 3.
Galaxy Note 3 Lite
Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Lite is reported to be equipped with a PLS display. The company is planning to produce some 500 000 copies of the lite version in January 2014 and 1 500 000 copies more in February 2014. Galaxy Note 3 Lite will get a 5,7-inch display. The OLED technology will be replaced with PLS.
Still, the 13-megapixel camera featured in the standard version will be replaced by a 8-megapixel one. Also, Samsung is reported to leave the back of the smartphone plastic instead of covering it with leather coating. The color range of the devices is also expected to be expanded to black, white, red, pink and gold.
At the same time, experts assume that the lite version of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will be a success worldwide. The official release is scheduled for February 2013.
On top of that, Samsung announced a brand-new device. It is called Galaxy Core Advance with a 4,7-inch display.
Meanwhile, the company's stock is consolidating after a rally. The sales of the new device are also expected to contribute to an increase in the market capitalization of Samsung Electronics.
