Lenovo, the world-famous manufacturer of computer electronics, is planning to purchase several companies located on the territory of the so-called BRICS. Market Leader tried to find out what are the reasons for the planned takeovers and what companies are likely to be purchased.
Apparently, Lenovo Group is planning to consolidate its position in emerging markets in general and the BRICS in particular. In becomes more obvious that the company's management is currently betting on emering markets and is trying to become number one there when the niche is still relatively empty.
Those purchases mainly concern companies working in the field of mobile internet, desktop and mobile computers. According to the CEO of Lenovo Group, the company is currently interested in the markets of India, Russia, South-Eastern Asia, Latin America and Europe.

At this point, Lenovo Group hasn't revealed any information concerning the list OG companies it is going to purchase. Meanwhile, the company's stock is appreciating on strong financial performance and positive news.
