According to several sources, Sony Corp has already managed to sell over 2 million copies of Sony PlayStation 4, the long-awaited game-console since the very start of the official sales (November 15th).
Indeed, PlayStation 4 (or PS4 for short) is currently enjoying very high demand, thereby being a bestseller among those who like spending their free time playing computer games.
Not so long ago, Sony started selling the game console in 32 countries around the globe, including the EU and Russia. People are ready to sand for hours in long lines in order to get an opportunity to purchase the device.
The top managers of Sony say these are excellent sales figures. They express gratitude to al of the PS4 fans. The official release of PlayStation 4 in the EU took place on November 29th. Actually, the sales performance was so strong that 185 000 consoles were sold during the first 24 hours of sales in the UK!
At this point, experts say that PlayStation 4 is the best game console in the industry. It definitely outpaces all other devices, including Xbox One by Microsoft, its major rival in the game industry. On top of that, PlayStation 4 is cheaper. It costs some $400 in the USA.
