Apple, the world-famous tech giant, is reported to start cooperating with Yandex, Russia’s biggest internet company. In particular, Apple has recently connected Apple Online Store to Yandex.Market, the online marketplace of the Russian-speaking internet community.
According to Interfax, at this point, you can purchase any new Apple device by ordering it via Yandex.Market. The store offers all the devices – iMac, iPhone, iPod, iPad and accessories.
It seems like Apple starts considering Russia as a promising market. By the way, not so long ago Market Leader reported that Apple was going to open an official Apple Store in Moscow.
Russia used to be underestimated by Apple, which is why Russian users use mostly second-hand devices or have to order them in the USA or the EU through their friends or some third parties. It seems like Apple decided to correct the situation.
