Several days ago it was reported that Pegatron has reduced production of iPhone 5c four times in comparison to last month. Foxconn factory has reduced its production even more, thus producing 8-9 thousand iPhones 5c per day. Yesterday it was informed that the company quits producing iPhone 5c at its main factory in Zhengzhou.
“Production of iPhone 5s will be expanded, as the smartphone is very popular, unlike iPhone 5c,” informs “Hi-tech” Department of the “Market Leader”.
Foxconn has not yet informed that production of 5c will be quit; however, the information is rather realistic. The “budget” smartphone is not in high demand. Its price is high, and the model is not so high-grade as 5s. It is likely that in the nearest future the model will be assembled only by Pegatron, which currently produces 80 thousand smartphones per day.
