According to Bloomberg with reference to some reliable sources, Apple is currently working on 2 new models of iPhone with curved displays of bigger sizes.
According to the sources, the new devices may well come into market in the second half of 2014. The new curved displays will be more solid and sensible. In particular, they say the devices will be capable of differentiating between soft and hard touches.
It seems like Apple is going to introduce 2 iPhones at a time – one with a 4,7-inch display and the other with a 5.5-inch display. It should be noted that Apple designers were always negative about smartphones with big screens since such devices are hard to work with one hand. That is why iPhone 5 and 5S/C have longer but not wider screens.
