Japanese company Panasonic has officially informed about quitting the market of plasma TV sets. The company’s press release says that closure of this production will start in December 2013. It is specified that this will truly happen in December, for it used to be informed earlier that the department will work till March.
Such decision has been taken due to low demand for plasma panels. These days LCD- technologies are becoming more popular, as informed by “Hi-tech” department of the “Market Leader”.
It has been informed earlier that Panasonic has stopped production of smartphones for mass market. The company is going to focus on production of mobile devices. Smartphones will continue being developed, but not for consumer market.
Stocks of Panasonic are falling. The company is currently having not the best of times, as admitted by the experts of Nord FX (NordFX enters Masterforex-V Academy rating of forex brokers ). The decision to focus on production of LCD-TV sets is rather wise. Today this technology is highly demanded.
