HTC, a famous Taiwanese manufacturer of computer electronics, is reported to have suspended some of its manufacturing facilities since the demand for HTC smartphones is going down at an unprecedented rate. Even despite being a major player in the international market of smartphones, HTC had to reduce its production by nearly 80%.
The company is planning to stop producing conventional mobile phones. However, the facilities won't be closed. They will be reoriented towards producing communicators through contractors.
