According to several web sources, Instagram (a popular social network) will become available for the owners of Windows-powered smartphones. The rumors that Microsoft will develop an Instagram app for Windows Phone to join iOS and Android were spread a long time ago. However, the information was confirmed by Microsoft only a few days ago. This is what Nokia’s CEO told the reporters during the Nokia World presentation.
The CEO of Instagram also confirmed the information that the app will become available for download in the Windows Phone store.
The awaited Instagram app will be free. It will be used to exchange photos and short video clips. The app will allow users to make quick shots Kodak Instamatic-style and Polaroid-style.
For reference sake, Instagram is owned by Facebook since 2012. It was bought for 300 million dollars. On top of that, Facebook is reported to cooperate with Google in the advertising sector. Apparently, this is a benefit for Facebook, which leads to higher market capitalization. The company's stock is gaining value.
