Ben Bernanke has been the Chairman of the Federal Reserve for 25 years. Most financial experts get used to following him on a regular basis when he makes statements concerning the Fed’s future policies.
However, tomorrow, on August 22nd, the conference at Jackson Hole will be conducted without Bernanke for the first time in more than 2 decades. Meanwhile, people are waiting for the answers on at least 2 questions:
What are the Fed’s plans concerning its accommodative policy? Will there by any tapering in the near future? How will the Fed and the government resolve the budget issue this year?
The answers will be given by vice-chairman and other officials.
