“Even if I’ve got a magic stick, anyway, this would be a long story!” This was the beginning of the opening speech at “Kharkiv: tourist partnership” made by Vice-Minister of Tourism Alexandr Sergeevish Liev when answering a question asked by Shmuel Rakhman, a representative of the tourist commission in Be’er Sheva, Israel.
The Vice-Minister told the audience that the program aimed at promoting all-year-round tourism at the Crimea was underway. Since early 2013, over 50 000 tourists have visited the beautiful peninsula, which is 30% more than in 2012.
At this point, the Ministry of Tourism of the Crimea is intensively teaching more of the stuff how to cater in the right way. Over 140 of local physicians in Kharkiv visited special courses to learn how to treat patients in Crimean resorts to make leisure more comfortable and safe.
The Vice-Minister is convinced that the tourist supply should be born by tour operators instead of local authorities, which is the right way to attract more tourists in the area. Needless, to say, that the Crimean tourist industry employs some of the best professionals, which makes the Crimea an optimal option for vacation in terms of both the price and quality.
