Apple’s partners are reported to start producing iPad 5 in July-August. The first shipment will include 5 million devices. They will be produced and shipped to Apple in early September. The production of iPad mini 2 will be postponed till November.
According to DigiTimes, the new tablet by Apple will undergo slight changes in design. In particular, iPad 5 will be much thinner. Therefore, the resemblance between the 2 devices will be even bigger.
At this point, Apple hasn’t revealed the real reasons why it decided to postpone the production of iPad mini 2.
