On May 1th, BlackBerry introduced another device called BlackBerry Q5. The presentation was held by the company’s CEO.
For reference sake, BlackBerry Q5 is a low-price smartphone which is definitely targeted at emerging markets, where most people just cannot afford to purchase rather costly devices.
The new device is expected to come into market in summer 2013. The price of BlackBerry Q5 is still unknown. However, experts say that the device will be cheaper than its predecessor - BlackBerry Z10.
The smartphone is obviously powered by BlackBerry OS and has a classic QWERTY keyboard. It is said to have a 7.9-inch touchscreen.
The company’s CEO underlines that BlackBerry Q5 is probably going to satisfy the growing demand for smartphones. BlackBerry Q5 will be sold in Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America.
