LG, a major South Korean manufacturer of electronics, has recently announced the release date of its new smartphone - LG Optimus G Pro. Some experts say that this is a response to its major rival – Samsung – which introduced a new mobile device called Galaxy 4 in New York last month.
Not it its LG’s turn to amaze. The device is rumored to have a 5,5-inch touchscreen (1920х1080 pixels). A quad-core processor (probably Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 , 1,7 GHz) and 2Gb RAM. They say the new smartphone by LG can boast a 13-mexapixel camera.
LG Optimus G Pro will probably be powered by the latest version of Android OS, which is Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. The dimensions are 150,2х76,1х9,4 mm. The weight is 172g.
Experts say that the new device will be fairly popular worldwide. The cost is unknown. However, if the new device is cheaper that its counterparts manufactured by Samsung and Apple, this whill be a great success for LG.
Meanwhile, LG’s quarterly report showed poor financial performance, thereby forcing the stock price do go down. The chart below, courtesy of Masterforex-V Academy, reflects the current state of affairs in the market of LPL:
