Samsung Won’t Invest In Sharp IGZO

The chief of Innolux Corporation disproved the rumors that the agreement signed by Samsung and Sharp revolves around the IGZO, technology. For reference sake, the technology is used in LCD manufacturing.

It is interesting to know that Apple, the major American tech giant, wasn’t concealing its interest in this technology. However, Samsung is said to be guided by completely other motives when cooperating with Sharp, which has nothing to do with IGZO.

For reference sake, Samsung spent some $107 million on Sharp’s stock. After the deal, Samsung’s market capitalization increased, thereby pushing the price of its stock to new highs.
