On March 14th, Lava, an India-based tech company, wants to distract attention from the long-awaited Samsung Galaxy S4 by presenting its own smartphone. The presentation of the new devices will take place a couple of hours before the actual presentation of Samsung Galaxy S4.
Lava promises to introduce the world’s “fastest” (i.e. powerful) smartphone. Little is known about the device. The only thing we know is that it will be delivered under the XOLO brand. It will be equipped with an Intel chip. Lava’s reputation is positive though the company is unknown to most smartphone users. Lava was the first company to manufacture the world’s first Intel-based smartphone.
What can we expect from this device? Most probably, it will have the brand new chip called Intel Clover Trail+. The series includes 3 chips: Z2580, Z2560 and Z2520 with dual-core processors 2 Ghz, 1,6Ghz and 1,2Ghz correspondingly. It is also expected to have PowerVR SGX 544, a dual-core GPU.
According to , if the new device enjoys popularity around the globe, this will definitely take Lava’s stock to new price highs.
