For some reason, Sony has recently started preparing iPhone users for switching to the company’s own smartphones – Xperia series. It wants to make it a simple process. Therefore, Sony is installing special software in its devices to make it easier to synchronize the old iPhone and the new Xperia phone.
The software is called Xperia Transfer. This is a simple tool for data transferring. It can export contacts, some settings, music, video, messages and calendar from an iPhone to an Android-powered Xperia device.
At this point, the software is compatible with the following versions of the Xperia series:
Xperia V, Xperia VC, Xperia TC, Xperia T, Xperia TL and Xperia Z.
In should be noted that Sony is not the only company that wants entice iPhone users. HTC has recently developed analogical software for HTC smartphones. It is called Sync Manager.
However, experts say this software is useless as iPhone users are very loyal smartphone users that are devoted to Apple’s products. Therefore, they are very unlikely to switch to Android phones manufactured by any other tech company, including Sony and HTC.
