Toyota Motor Corp, a major Japanese car manufacturer, has recently announced about its ambitious plan to increase the production of autos by 9.5% in 2014. This plan concerns both Toyota and Lexus, the 2 car brands owned by Toyota Motor Corp.
For reference sake, the Japanese auto giant is planning to manufacture 8.79 million cars this year.
The aggregate production of cars worldwide, including the production of Daihatsu Motor Co. and Hino Motors Ltd., is expected to exceed 10 million units.
According to analytic forecasts, Toyota will produce over 3 million cars in Japan. No less than 3 million cars a year is expected to be the lower limit of Toyota’s domestic production.
