In October- December 2012, Apple sold over 27.4 million copies of iPhone5. This allowed the device to occupy 12/6% of the market niche.
During the same reporting period, Apple sold 17.4 million copies of iPhone4S.
Samsung Galaxy S III dropped down to the 3rd place in the rating of the world’s most popular smartphones.
Apple is still the world’s most expensive tech company.
