Google has recently filed a lawsuit against BT Group in the UK and the USA. This time Google accuses the company of violating 4 patterns in the field of telecommunications.
2 of the patents concern the methods and devices designed to reserve system resources and maintain high-quality service. Another pattern concerns a gateway that provides access to internet telephony. The last one is all about distributing the load in those networks that process information.
The first three patents used to belong to IBM, the last one was given to Fujitusu. Later on, Google purchased those patents.
For reference sake, BT Group filed a similar lawsuit against Google in 2011.
