Polytron Technologies, a Taiwan-based tech company, decided to surprise the world by making a prototype of an unusual mobile device.
The body of the wonder smartphone is absolutely transparent. However, some internal parts of the device are visible. These are the camera, memory card and microchips. However, in general the device looks like a transparent piece of plastic with a touch screen. The development is still underway. The company’s representatives announced that the final version of the device will be presented in late 2013.
The news itself may make the industry’s giants reconsider their near-term plans as some of them may want to make their devices transparent as well.
Maybe within a couple of years we will see some more of unusual devices with transparent body and components created by Apple, Samsung, Sony and other tech giants.
