Apple, the world’s biggest tech company, has set specific goals for this year. In particular, the corporation is planning to conquer the Chinese market, thereby becoming even more popular than in the USA where it is number 1.
Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, confirmed this plan. However, he didn’t specify the terms. The first step is to increase the amount of Chinese stores. At this point, there are 11 stores in Hong Kong and mainland China. Apple is planning to double this amount in the near future.
Also, the corporation is planning to introduce its new products to the Chinese markets much earlier than before. The Chinese sales of iPhone5 started only in December, which is 3 months after the start of official sales in the USA.
In Q3 2012, Apple earned over $14.4bn from US sales and over $5.7bn form Chinese sales.
Apple is planning to amaze everyone with new products in 2013. However, it is useless to wait for a cheaper version of iPhone as the corporation is not planning to develop it.
